EMERGANCY PROJECT
Smart disinfection station
The emergence of the new virus has brought new hygiene standards into our daily lives, including mandatory hand disinfection.
Smart Disinfection Station was developed as a response and as a solution for the high costs of disinfection.

While creating the solution we set ourselves goals which we devided into two groups. Wiith this product, we wanted to please the end user and the client as well. The motives among them were different so we had to use holistic aproach.
For the end user our main goals were to:
-
provide a safe and plasasent user experiance at the entry point to public areas,
-
use of contacless and automatic dispensing of disinfectant gives visitors a sense of safety.
-
made durable and elegant metal housing providing the option of socially responsible communication.
To please the end users was the easy part. The real chalange was how to please clients as in the time of pandemic providing hand disinfection in public areas was mendatory and this for them represented unwanted cost.
At this point our main goal was to lower the costs of mendatory disinfection and to asure the station will never run out of didinfectant.
The solution
Hardware and software
The solution was to create a full system built into the station itself. By integrating the microcontroller into the dispenser, we connected the station to the Internet (IoT technology). Using the collected data, we inform client about the daily consumption of disinfectant (daily number of disinfections) and notify them when the battery or disinfectant is running out. The data collected on hand disinfection provide an overview of disinfectant consumption which is essential for distributors of disinfectant to better plan sales and logistic. The data can also help client to better monitor the daily visits to their business facilities.

The client gets equipment (in this case disinfection station - branded according to his wishes) and acess to user friendly Dispenser Control Platform to monitor the consumption.
Advanced solution
Adding screen on the disinfection station for the purposes of advertising enables client to advertise their product or even sell the advertisment space to others. In this case the client can cover his costs of disinfectatnt by renting our the advertisment space.
Every time a users disinfect their hands, they see your advertisement.
1 hand disinfection = 1 advertisement
The Smart Disinfection Stations shows an advertisement each time users disinfect their hands. Based on the daily number of hand disinfections, the advertiser receives a detailed report on the number of displayed ads in a specific location or industry. Compared to large billboard posters and other advertising messages based on statistics, we provide our clients with similar tracking that is available online.
Clients have free access to CMS – Dispenser Control Platform, which they can use to remotely manage advertising messages on all their stations. The interface allows the client to upload various materials and advertising formats (jpg, png, MP4, etc.).

NEW APROACH PROJECT
Smart toilets
In spite of its incredible potential, the hygiene industry is almost bereft of digitalization. This, however, no longer needs to be the case.
Have you ever heard about or seen “autocut” dispensers of paper towels and toilet paper? These are devices that use an inner mechanism to measure the precise amount of dispensed materials. As a result, paper use can be brought down by 40%, the vendor lowers their expenses, while the supplier generates more income. But herein lies the problem – in these dispensers, the toilet paper (or towels) typically cannot be refilled until after they have run out. This means there is always the chance that a client finds themselves without toilet paper.
The solution
We tackled the challenge by implementing the SDT framework into dispensers, thereby allowing cleaners to receive text notifications before the paper is used up. This way, they spend much less time making rounds. The vendor, on the other hand, retains complete control over the usage of said materials, along with the ability to manage new shipments at the supplier, which results in increase of revenue and decrease of logistics costs.
