Deforestation is ongoing and with it changing the climate and geomorphology. Cutting down trees is a major atmospheric problem, contributing to global warming and often appearing as one of the main causes of all greenhouse effects. Deforestation also affects the water cycle as the trees use their roots to draw groundwater from the ground and release it into the atmosphere. When a part of the forest is removed, water cannot evaporate, the result is a dry climate, the amount of water in the soil and groundwater decreases, as does the humidity in the atmosphere. The consequences are the formation of erosion, floods and landslides. In addition to atmospheric and hydrological problems, deforestation also has a significant impact on the decline of plant diversity, thereby providing habitat for forest animals.
It has been estimated that we are losing 137 species of plants, animals and insects every day due to deforestation, which means 50,000 species per year.

Simply buy replacing the key ingrediants in production and by equiping the user with smart technology which has a strong impact on so many levels.
FIRST STEP:
CHOOSING THE RIGHT RAW MATERIAL
As we know toilet paper and paper towels are made of of cellulose, which is made out of wood fibers, wood pulp or plant fibers. That means that to produce hygienic paper, we must cut down trees to provide the main material. But what if we could substitute cellulose with other ingredient that will not have such an impact on the inviroment?
HYGENIC PAPER MADE OUT OF TETRAPACK
An innovative paper enables a new life cycle of cardboard packaging for milk and juices. With innovative technology, separates the constituent materials of cardboard packaging for milk and juices: from cellulose it produces Fiberpack®, a new raw material for paper production, and from aluminum and polyethylene it produces Al.p.e®, a new raw material for the production of feeders.

SMART TECHNOLOGY
IMPLEMENTATION

The smart dispenser project includes the upgrade of manual autocut dispenser for toilet paper and towels used in public toilets. A smart circuit is installed in the dispnser, which connects to the cloud platform and as a whole offers the client the following advantages: lower consumption and consequent reduction in the cost of toilet paper, inventory management and reduction of storage costs, optimization of the work of cleaners and cleaning services, building an ecological story for the client (less consumption of cellulose, less felling of trees), transparency and control over consumption, higher hygiene standard.
